What is the Cinque Terre Card?
The Cinque Terre Card is a tourism card specifically designed for visitors to the Cinque Terre National Park. It provides access to the train service that connects the five picturesque villages—Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore—as well as the hiking trails that link them. This card is an essential tool for anyone looking to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site.

What Does the Cinque Terre Card Include?
- Train Service
The card allows unlimited travel on the local trains that connect the five villages, making it easy to hop from one village to another without worrying about transportation costs. Trains run frequently, typically every 30 minutes, providing a convenient way to explore the area. - Hiking Trails
The card grants access to the hiking trails within the Cinque Terre National Park. This includes the famous Sentiero Azzurro (Blue Trail), which offers breathtaking views of the coastline and the villages. Do note that some trail sections may require additional fees, especially during peak seasons, so it’s wise to check beforehand. - Other Benefits
In addition to the train and hiking access, the Cinque Terre Card also includes:
– Free Wi-Fi at designated areas in the villages.
– Use of the park’s shuttle service, where available, to make your hikes easier.
