Shakti boat tours reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time in case of adverse weather and sea conditions for safety purposes; in this case the reservation will be fully refunded. In all other cases, cancellation within 24 hours before the tour departure is free, but net of management costs (we calculate 5% of management costs).

The safety, comfort, and well-being of our guests are always our highest priority. For this reason, Shakti Boat Tours reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour in the event of unfavorable marine weather conditions or for safety reasons.
Our tours depart from Levanto and take place within the Cinque Terre Marine Protected Area. In some parts of the park, local environmental regulations prevent boats from navigating close to the coastline, requiring us to operate farther offshore. Because of this, sea conditions observed from sheltered beaches or harbors — such as Monterosso or Levanto — may be very different from the actual conditions encountered during the tour.
Although weather forecasts are not always perfectly accurate, we believe it would be irresponsible to ignore marine conditions that may be unsafe or uncomfortable for navigation. For this reason, we prefer to inform guests as early as possible, allowing enough time to reorganize travel plans and minimize inconvenience.
In some exceptional situations, cancellations may also be required by the port authorities or the Coast Guard. During forecasts of strong storms or rough seas, the harbor of Levanto may require boats to be removed from the water and secured on land, making it impossible for tours to operate.
In the event that Shakti Boat Tours cancels a tour due to adverse marine weather conditions:
bookings made directly through our website are fully refunded;
refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days;
